Who We Are

Burkett Residential is a premier, custom deck builder based out of Lawrence KS. We offer Pine, Cedar, and Composite options. Our integrity, craftsmanship, and service set us apart from the competition.

The Owner

Jacob Burkett has been building decks professionally for over four years. He is a licensed Class C Residential Building Contractor in Lawrence, Eudora, De Soto, and Johnson County.

He and his wife Macy met during a church mission trip to Tennessee in 2010. The mission provided handyman services to the underprivileged community. And believe it or not, their first mission was building a deck for a community member with mobility issues.

They have resided in Lawrence since 2018. They have two sons, Eli and Mace.
